Century Diamond has rich experience to provide advanced dining environment and experience for guests onboard. All breakfast, lunch and dinner are buffet styles. Both western people and visitors from the oriental area can enjoy their dishes suitable for their habits and also get some new try with the special flavors. Sitting with people with similar eating habits and appreciating sceneries through the large glass window is really good and pleasurable!

Breakfast option: cereals, congees, milk, soy milk, yogurt, jelly, butter, jam, dried fruits, eggs, bacon, French fry toast, noodles, dim sum, Chinese stuffed steamed buns, bread, salad, appetizers, fruits, hot dishes, pickles, juice, cola, Sprite, coffee, tea, etc.

Lunch options: salads, dressings, appetizers, bread, soups, rice, main courses, vegetables, Chinese dishes, fresh fruits, mousse, cheese cake, jelly, cola, Sprite, coffee, tea, etc.

1. Early Bird Treatment: Early risers may enjoy complimentary early bird coffee and tea in the Bar on the 5th Floor after a fresh walk on the sundeck. (usually at 6:45-7:15)

2. Drinkable bottled water is provided every day in the cabin (1 bottle per person per day). And since water is purified with advanced system, you can get more with the boiler in the room.

3. Sun Bar on the 5th floor of Century Diamond offers various kinds of tea, coffee, juicy, cocktails, wines, spirits, etc. for guests every morning till around 23:00 at night.

4. The legal drinking age on New Century Cruises ships is 18 years old.

Drink Packages:

Century Diamond has prepared a series of activities and entertainments for guests to give them a wonderful stay onboard. From the early morning to the night, you will feel every moment worthy and great.

If you get up early, just go up to the sun deck where you can learn to play Tai Chi that is a classic exercise in China under the guidance of the Tai Chi master. It is interesting to feel the gentle river wind and soft light of the dawn in a fresh new place.

Also, you can pay a visit to the famous attractions like Fengdu Ghost City, White Emperor City, Shibaozhai Pagoda, Shennv Stream, and so on along Yangtze River to appreciate the fancy view of the mountains, hills, rivers, buildings, streets and know more about the classic Chinese culture and history happened there many years ago. During other unoccupied time on the cruise ship, you can enjoy kiting on the Sun Deck on the 6th floor, chatting, playing Mahjong and laughing with your people in the Sun Bar and Chess & Card Room. However, if you want some quiet moment, browsing through some books in the Reading Room and surfing on the Internet at the Business Center, and enjoying the sunshine as well as the beautiful sightseeing of Yangtze River on the Century Diamond will be perfect choices.

Moreover, this cruise arranges lectures and activities amid the time between meals and attractions, like the Demonstration of Fresh Water Pearl, a Lecture of Chinese Medicine, a Dance lesson, a movie about the Three Gorges on Yangtze River, etc., which are meaningful and interesting.

During the second day, around 15:00 p.m., you are recommended to enjoy the Captain’s Welcome Party. Great food and drinks are well provided by nice staff, you could thoroughly enjoy the dance gathering with your mate or the new people you meet just now and feel the hospitality of the captain and all staff on the cruise.

At night, high spirits remain there. During the Crew Cabaret Show, performing staff on Century Diamond will show wonderful and interesting songs, dances, magic performance, Face Changing, etc. and you can join in the interaction with them to laugh to the most.

(Dress code for Captain’s Welcome Party: A suite and tie for a man or an evening dress for a woman is not strictly required, but avoiding dressing too casual like jeans, round-neck shirts, shorts, slippers and so on.)

Since Century Diamond has brought in the advanced European service conception, staff on this cruise will be very hospitable to answer your questions and professional to help with your problems. No matter you are in the restaurant, bar, lobby, sun deck, you can see staff there waiting to serve you well. And if you want to try the spa, sauna, Chinese massage, you can directly tell it to the staff at the Reception Desk, and they will book it for you willingly.

Guide Service: during every of your shore excursion, you will have an experienced English (sometimes your speaking language) guide to introduce the attraction and accompany you all the way from the gathering place on the cruise to the your back on the cruise. They will tell every detailed step to you. Every day, the broadcasting, bulletin board, Channel 2 will inform you about the shore excursion sites of the next day. And also, staff will in advance inform you through the broadcasting about the activities so you will not miss any wonderful part on the cruise.

Laundry: you can do laundry onboard certainly. And also, laundry service is provided to leave you more leisure time. You just need to put your clothes in the laundry bag prepared in your cabin and fill the Laundry Service form and dial to the Reception Desk. Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is available at the lobby on the 2nd floor, and if you need to use this service, just tell the reception desk, they will help with the linking. The Wi-Fi service needs extra charge and for the detailed price, please ask our professional cruise agents.

Phone calls: there are two phones in your cabin, you can dial “0” to the Reception Desk when you need some service or have some questions. And also, dialing the cabin number can get thought the phone in that one cabin.

Gym Center is accessible on Century Diamond with equipment like running machine, spinning, dumbbells, etc. to continue your exercise plan every day. And every morning, there will be Tai Chi Exercise on the Sun Deck, which is gentle but benefits bodies so well.

On Century Diamond, there is a doctor to provide good service in the Clinic, and also, he/she will tell about the historical Chinese herb medicines and some traditional classic treatment like the acupuncture and moxibustion.

Payment Onboard

Everything and every service you enjoyed on Century Diamond are required to pay by your cabin card, and the currency is Chinese Yuan (RMB). And when you check out the night before your disembarkation, you can pay them in total at the Reception Desk in either cash or by credit card (VISA, Mastercard, American Express, all using chip and PIN). Travellers’ Cheques in Euro or US Dollars are also accepted.
