Chaotianmen Dock - Location

Chaotianmen Dock is the only embarkation point of the Yangtze River Cruise in Chongqing. Located in the downtown city, it's not far from Chongqing's most attractions like Jiefangbei CBD which is 6km (15 mins' drive) away and Hongya Cave (1.5km away; 5 mins' drive), and it's 24km (40 mins' drive) from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, 10km (0.5 h's drive) from Chongqing North Railway Station, 20km (40 mins' drive) from Chongqing West Railway Station and 15km (0.5 h's drive) from Shapingba Railway Station.

Location: No. 19, Yangtze River Binjiang Road, Yuzhong District, Chongqing (重庆市渝中区长江滨江路19号).

Chaotianmen Dock - Wharves

There are 11 wharves of Chaotianmen Dock, but only 6 (Wharf 6, 8, 10 on the north of the Yuzhong peninsula and Wharf 11, 15, 17 on the south) are used for the Yangtze Cruise. Notably, except for Chaotianmen 11th Dock which serves Century Cruises, the specific dock numbers for other cruise ships will only be announced one or two days before sailing. Other wharves including Wharf 7 and 9 and Wharf 1, 2, and 3 near Hongya Cave are are specifically used for Two Rivers' Cruise (also called Yangtze River & Jialing River Cruise). You should try not to mistake them for the wharves serving the Yangtze River Cruise.
