Built in 1980, the main building of Yihcang Museum is a three-story building built to an ancient style. It has a collection of more than 30,000 pieces of cultural relics, among which 17,035 pieces were found by archaeologists in Yichang region and 95 pieces listed as first-class relics in China. There are more than 600 cultural relics displayed, telling about Chengbeixi Culture, Daxi Culture and Yangshao Culture etc.

Chinese Sturgeon Museum

This spot is great for families with kids. Chinese Sturgeon, known as a living fossil, is thought to have lived at the same time as dinosaurs. In Chinese Sturgeon Museum, you will have the opportunity to enjoy seeing not only Chinese sturgeon but also Russia sturgeon, American Paddlefish, Amur sturgeon, Hybrid sturgeon and many more.

Sanyou Cave

It is located at the northern exit of Xiling Gorge and 10 km from Yichang downtown. Hence, this place is good to explore after or before your Yangtze River cruise. Originated from the story of three friends travel to the cave, therefore this cave is also called “Three Visitors Cave”.
